I don’t go viral often, but when I do…there are opinions. There’s also data, and after a recent video of mine grabbed 600K views on TikTok and 400K on Instagram, I noticed something interesting. My video’s intention was to set singles free from the emotional and financial exploitation dating apps are currently deploying to make billions, with a “b,” off of single people’s hope, loneliness, and desire. Essentially, I’m calling out the dating apps because they don’t work for users, they only work for themselves, much like slot machines in Vegas. On both platforms, hundreds of people left comments trying to “prove me wrong” by saying they met their partner on a dating app. But thousands of people didn’t. Thousands liked my videos, saved my videos, and shared my videos, because they wanted to. Here, look:
