I don’t feel the need to shovel astrology your way, you have Instagram for that. What I’ll say is that I believe in seasons, cycles, patterns, and shifts. Last week involved a pretty big one. Without giving you information that will make you roll your eyes, last week there were a variety of astrological moments of significance involving a new moon and an equinox, among other adjustments. Most importantly for the purposes of this post: Pluto left Capricorn. It had been there since 2008. Thus ended a 15 year cycle and while you’re right—pretty much everything happens during that much time…I don’t know y’all I think this is a pretty big deal. At least for me.
A few words on 2008, particularly the spring of 2008. That’s when I graduated law school, and my career began in earnest. It’s also when I broke up with my last romantic partner—and I haven’t had another. Unfathomably vast evolutions have happened to me in both areas of my life since. And if you’re going to understand why this lunch was important, you need the abbreviated notes.
